Bus Lines Within the City
The University of Coimbra (UC) is divided into 3 university campuses. The Municipal Urban Transport Services of Coimbra (SMTUC) allow you to travel between the 3 campuses comfortably, and the schedules are regular throughout the day.
National Transportation
Bus
In Coimbra, the bus station is located on Avenida Fernão Magalhães, where you can catch a bus to various destinations across the country (Rede Expressos, Transdev, Flixbus).
Trains
The city has one railway station:
- Coimbra B – Located in the parish of Eiras, it is where regional, Intercity, and Alfa-Pendular train lines stop.
