Applications now open for joint Masters in Sustainability, Ageing and European Languages and Cultures
The University of Coimbra coordinates the joint European Master's Degree in Sustainable Cities and Communities, with applications open until the 31st of March
Applications are open for the three EC2U joint Masters - European Campus of City-Universities.
All three Master's programmes - Sustainable Cities and Communities, Lifelong Wellbeing and Healthy Ageing, and European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact - are two-year programmes taught in English.
In addition to training professionals who can work and conduct research in response to the societal challenges outlined in the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs), the EC2U master's programmes also aim to promote student mobility, engagement with new cultures, and the creation of an extensive professional network. Students have the opportunity to spend four semesters at different universities within the EC2U Alliance.
The EC2U Joint Master's Degree in Sustainable Cities and Communities, coordinated by the University of Coimbra, aims to train future national and international professionals with diverse backgrounds in the fields of environment, energy, urban planning and natural resources. This practice-oriented programme ensures that students develop key skills in analysis and synthesis, problem solving and planning. Graduates will be equipped to start their careers with advanced knowledge in the field of sustainable cities and communities. Applications are open until 31 March and can be submitted here.
The Master's degree in European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the European linguistic, cultural and social landscape, using advanced academic research methods. Applications are also open until 31 March and can be submitted via UC.
In the field of ageing, EC2U offers the Master's Degree in Lifelong Well-being and Healthy Ageing, which will enable students to acquire knowledge, professional and research skills to become experts in interdisciplinary approaches to lifelong well-being and healthy ageing. Applications from EU students will open on 26 May.
EC2U is a multicultural and multilingual European university alliance coordinated by the University of Poitiers, which seeks to create an open and innovative space for seamless mobility between its eight universities and their associated cities.
