The exhibition 'Beyond Space and Time - On the Seventh Continent' [Para além do Espaço e do Tempo - No Sétimo Continente], will be inaugurated at the Colegio das Artes’ Gallery on 14 February at 5.30pm, organised as part of the Em Liberdade project, supported by the Portuguese Network of Contemporary Art, with the participation of the Colégio das Artes of the University of Coimbra, MIRA FORUM, AIR 351 and Desenha House.
The curatorial project includes works by renowned Portuguese artists such as Álvaro Lapa, António Areal, Ana Hatherly, Ernesto de Sousa, Fernando Lemos, Jorge Pinheiro, Jorge Martins and Mário Cesariny, as well as more recent talents such as Bárbara Fonte, Fabrizio Matos, Miguel Palma, Sara e André and Tiago Madaleno, among others.
The exhibition explores the complexity and diversity of the poetic expressions and creative perspectives that define contemporary Portuguese art, displayed throughout the gallery spaces of the Colégio das Artes (College of Arts)
