FPCEUC Prize to award €30,000 to project by former student of the institution
The Doctor Luísa Morgado Prize aims to reward a research project in the fields of developmental or educational psychology. Applications can be submitted between 1 April and 18 July 2025.
Applications are now open for the second edition of the Doctor Luísa Morgado Prize, awarded by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra (FPCEUC).
The prize is awarded every two years to a high-quality research project in the fields of Developmental Psychology or Educational Psychology, with the aim of contributing to the advancement of these scientific fields. Applications will be accepted from 1 April to 18 July 2025.
Alumni of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra who have completed one of the academic cycles of the institution (undergraduate, masters or doctorate) and who, at the time of application, have obtained a doctorate in Psychology within the last 10 years, are eligible to apply.
The projects submitted for the prize, which will be evaluated by a jury of national and international experts, must be original, i.e., they must have been developed specifically for the purpose of applying for the Doctor Luísa Morgado Prize. The following documents must be submitted in English: an updated curriculum vitae via the CIÊNCIAVITAE platform and the research project, which must meet the requirements set out in the application guide.
The prize will be awarded at a public ceremony in November as part of the FPCEUC's anniversary celebrations.
