UC hosts seminar to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The University of Coimbra will mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on Monday 25 November with an international seminar on "Women's Rights and the Elimination of Violence against Women". The event, organised by the UC, the Sino-Lusophone Academy (ASL-UC) - UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) and P&D Factor (Association for Cooperation on Population and Development), will take place at the Colégio da Trindade (UC Campus I), starting at 10.45am.
The seminar will be held in Portuguese with guest speakers from Portugal, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde.
