The EC2U 5-Minute PhD Poster Slam workshop will take place on Friday, 21st March, starting at 14:00 (Portugal time), bringing together PhD students to share and discuss their research projects.
The online event is open to PhD students in the health field from the eight universities that make up the EC2U Alliance – European Campus of City-Universities: University of Coimbra, University of Poitiers (France), Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (Romania), University of Salamanca (Spain), University of Pavia (Italy), University of Turku (Finland), and Johannes Kepler University of Linz (Austria).
Each participant will have 5 minutes to present their doctoral research project, followed by a short peer discussion. The workshop aims to improve communication skills, encourage constructive dialogue and promote an interdisciplinary approach to ongoing research projects. It also offers an opportunity to discuss current research with people from different academic backgrounds.
This initiative is organised by the EC2U Virtual Institute for Good Health and Well-being (GLADE). Registration for the event is available here.
The European Campus of City-Universities (EC2U) is a multicultural and multilingual university alliance, coordinated by the University of Poitiers, aimed at creating an open and innovative space for free mobility between universities and cities. It is built on unique cooperation between academic communities, municipalities, regional authorities, socio-economic stakeholders, and citizens.
